Our Alarm Monitoring Service

Integration of Alarm & CCTV Monitoring Service

An essential part of integrating alarm systems and CCTV monitoring for security services is mapping each site to ensure all CCTV cameras are listed in specific alarm monitoring zones.

When an alarm signal is received, operators can review the CCTV footage to assess any movement.

This approach allows for an environmentally friendly and cost-effective alarm response by reducing the need for vehicle dispatches, particularly for low-level alarms. In cases where a vehicle is necessary, it can still be dispatched, but this method minimises overall costs for the client.

Our advanced Monitoring and Alarm Services

If an alarm is activated, clients can either be contacted and respond directly to it, or we can immediately contact a patrol vehicle and dispatch it to your location. In some instances, Police may be required, and MASG is authorised with an Alpha Code to dispatch Police for genuine security breaches at your premises.

Furthermore, our operators can monitor CCTV cameras from client sites and use this function to patrol the site virtually or in conjunction with physical alarm response.

Alarm Monitoring is divided into different levels. For example, a dialler is monitored via phone line, and GPRS and IP monitoring, which have different polling rates.

One advantage of GPRS monitoring is that it allows up to three forms of communication between your site and our Monitoring Centre.

In addition, clients can select their desired polling rate. Polling is a function that sends a test signal between your premises and the Monitoring Centre at regular intervals to ensure your alarm system for home security is functioning correctly.

Alarm signals from your premises are sent via a GPRS Unit fitted with a mobile SIM card. These GPRS Units can be fitted with a Single SIM, Dual SIM, or IP Connectivity. The Dual SIM uses two different telco providers, which provide redundancy functionality in the event of a network outage.

With GPRS monitoring, clients can select a Polling Rate. Depending on the level of risk to a property, polling rates can vary from 60 seconds to 24 hours, and the charge rates will vary accordingly.
