At MA Services, we believe in the importance of giving back to our communities. We’ve been helping to support our local communities for a long time to make sure that important initiatives and services don’t get left behind. We believe it’s important to be active members of our local communities, not just to exist in them. When businesses support other people, those individuals often want to support the business in return, but for us, it goes beyond that. If our communities are not thriving, neither are we.
Community service is something that anyone can do, but we at MA Services Group think that businesses can and should work to make a bigger difference than individuals. Businesses are an important part of the communities in which they operate, and we don’t take that role lightly.
We have had the privilege of sponsoring local sporting clubs to ensure that our communities remain physically active, local groups to ensure that community participation is celebrated in a variety of areas, and by demonstrating a continued commitment to our local First Nations people and their contributions both in and out of the community. All of these activities, no matter how large or small, move the needle in a healthy direction and result in greater community outcomes for all.
Giving back is one of the fundamental pillars around which our company is built. You do not need a purpose as a company to give back. You hear many stories of extraordinary people and awe-inspiring organisations uniting around a major event as a catalyst to start doing more good work. As a business, it can simply be done because it is the right thing to do.
Businesses everywhere have the power and resources to make a significant difference in their local communities for the better. As an organisation, we are a diverse group of professionals from various backgrounds. If we do not advance our local communities, we are not being true to ourselves and our values. MA Services is a firm believer in leading with purpose, which for us means engaging with our communities to make them better overall. We are grateful and happy to serve the communities that we exist in.
We actively feel like we are a part of the communities we serve, which is just as important to us as the high-quality of work that we do. To all individuals and organisations, we issue a challenge. What needs does your community have for you? Rise to the challenge and help those around you, as it is simply a good business decision that we should all be making.
