On 20 September 2025, MA Services Group conducted the first Victorian trial of the CEIA OPENGATE weapons detection system at Caulfield Racecourse, assessing its suitability for large-event environments.
The trial showed that OPENGATE can enhance event security, streamline patron entry, and improve customer experience. When integrated into a layered security framework, it offers clear advantages in both throughput and deterrence. Further trials are being conducted and we’ll be sharing updates as they happen.
